Unlock characters in kart mode:
Complete the indicated stages and missions to unlock alternate
character costumes or new characters:
Unlock Tikal The Echinda in kart mode
Finish all of Knuckles' missions and levels and reach A rank.
Unlock Metal Sonic in kart mode
Finish all of Shadow's missions and levels and reach A ranking
Unlock Amy Rose in kart mode
Finish all of Sonic's missions and levels and reach A rank.
Unlock Rouge new outfit in kart mode
Finish all of Rouge's missions and levels
Unlock Knuckles in new outfit in kart mode
Finish all of Knuckles' missions and levels
Unlock Sonic PSO suit in kart mode
Finish all of Sonic's missions and levels
Unlock Eggman in new Eggwalker in kart mode
Finish all of Eggman's missions and levels
Unlock Tails in the Tornado 1 in kart mode
Finish all of Tails' missions and levels
Unlock Shadow new outfit in kart mode
Finish all of Shadow's missions and levels
Unlock Kart racing mini-game in the Hero side story
Finish Tails' driving quest in the Hero side story
Unlock kart racing mini-game in the Dark side story:
Finish Rouge's chase mission in the Dark side story
Boss attack mode
Finish the Hero or Dark side story modes
Unlock Last stage option
Finish the Hero and Dark side story modes. After, go to story mode.
You will see a new "Last Stage?" selection on the menu between the
Hero and Dark selections.
Unlock 3D Green Hills Zone bonus stage
Collect all 180 Emblems, including Timed Boss, Kart and the emblems
for all "A" rating. The new stage will appear on the world map.
The island next to the Green Forest level will have the face
of Sonic on it.
Full pause screen:
Pause game play then hold Y + X buttons.
In-game reset:
Hold X + B + Start during game play.
Zoom in tutorial:
Hit Y button to zoom in on the picture at the tutorial subscreen.
Unlock extra theme:
Enter to the themes menu and turn the analog stick clockwise
quickly until you hear a sound.
Infinite extra lives:
When you pick up an extra life, push [Start] then [Exit] after re-enter
to the same stage. You will receive one additional life.
Repeat this many times as you want.
Run As Fast As You Possibly Can!
To run really fast, I suggest you do this with radical highway. First,
do a spin dash. Then,as soon as Shadow rolls in a ball, immediatley
press the b button. He then will stop rolling, stop moving his feet,
tilt his head,and running at a dangerously fast speed. NOTE:Do this
downhill and over a speed boost to run even faster. This can also
work well with Sonic running from the truck in city escape.
